If you haven’t tried this variation on the classic Manhattan, it’s an excellent cocktail recipe and one that could easily become a go-to favorite.
The Luxardo liqueur adds sweetness and body, balancing out the 100 proof rye whisky.
Ingredients
2 oz Rittenhouse Rye
1 oz Martini Rosso Vermouth
1/4 oz Luxardo Maraschino Liqueur
2 dashes Angostura Bitters
1 Luxardo Maraschino Cherry
Instructions
Stir all ingredients with ice and strain into a chilled cocktail glass. Garnish with a cherry.
