Happy World Martini Day!
June 19th is world martini day and the rosemary in my garden is doing so well, I decided to use some in a martini made with Gin Mare and homemade vermouth olives.
Ingredients
2 1/2 oz Gin Mare
3/4 oz Noilly Pratt Extra Dry Vermouth
2 olives and 1 sprig of rosemary for garnish
Instructions
Stir all ingredients with ice and strain into a chilled martini glass. Garnish with olives and rosemary.
Gin Mare
Gin Mare is produced in Vilanova, a small Spanish fishing village near Barcelona and distilled in a thirteenth-century chapel.
The herbaceous gin is made with various botanicals, including Spanish Arbequina olives, Greek thyme, Italian basil and Turkish rosemary.
The gin is clear with a very smooth and clean taste. Distinct tasting notes include rosemary, orange, thyme and juniper.
