As a special treat for Valentine’s Day, I decided to make a classic sour using the strawberry-infused tequila I made in the summer. You can really taste the fresh strawberries from the farmers market in the tequila. Yum!
Shake all ingredients with ice and strain into a chilled martini glass. Spoon extra foam on top and serve.
Tip: Add more syrup to balance out very sour lemons.
1 quart of strawberries (washed, hulled, and halved)
1/2 bottle (375ml) Reposado tequila
Add the strawberries to a 32 oz Mason jar and fill the jar with tequila. Store in a dark, cool place and shake the jar every few days. Store for three weeks then strain into another Mason jar or container.
